🎄 Christmas Smiles Festival 2025 – Kyaka II Refugee Settlement

The Christmas Smiles Festival is a special annual event organized by Blessed to Bless Life Ministries (BBLM) to bring joy, dignity, and meaningful celebration to refugee children and parents living in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement. This year, the festival will host 200 participants — 100 children and 100 parents/guardians — for a full day of celebration, meals, gifts, performances, games, and community fellowship. Our theme for this year is:“Sharing Joy, Restoring Hope.”
Purpose of the Event
- To provide refugee children with a joyful Christmas experience
- To strengthen family bonding and positive parenting
- To celebrate children’s gifts and talents through performances and awards
- To unite families from different nationalities within Kyaka II
- To honor and motivate children enrolled in the KIPODI Program
- To promote peace, dignity, and community cohesion
- To give the children a day they will remember with joy
What to Expect on the Christmas Festival Day
The event will include:✓ Mass Community Meal (with Meat)
A well-prepared Christmas meal including rice, beans, beef, porridge, fruits, and drinking water for all.✓ Performances by Children
