Story of Hope: Amisi, a Child Beneficiary
Background: Amisi, an 8-year-old refugee girl from the Democratic Republic of Congo, arrived in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement with his mother after losing her father in the conflict. Without access to education or basic needs, Amisi’s future seemed uncertain.
Challenge: Amisi had no opportunity to attend school, and his family struggled to afford even the basics like food and clothing. Her mother, being the sole provider, found it hard to keep up.
Role of Blessed to Bless Life Ministries: Through the children’s education program, Blessed to Bless Life Ministries sponsored Amisi’s enrollment in a local primary school. He was provided with school supplies, clothing, and meals at school.
Transformation: Since joining the program, Amisi has become one of the top students in his class and dreams of becoming a teacher to help others. Her mother now also participates in community development programs, further improving their living conditions.
Quote: “Blessed to Bless has given me hope to learn and help my family. I now believe that I can achieve my dream of becoming a teacher,” says Amisi with a bright smile.
