Our Ongoing Campaigns, Movements, Clubs and Projects
CAMPAIGNS
Excellence requires Concentration;
This campaign calls for your support so that we can construct a Community Library in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement to enhance Academic performance of all Students attending schools in the camp.
He needs a Safe Haven;
This campaign aims at a group of children whose lives have been marred by the horrors of war and displacement. These are the street refugee children—young souls who have lost their families, homes, and any sense of security. They need where they can find shelter, love, and a path to a brighter tomorrow. We need your support to make this vision a reality.
Ending Digital Divide for Refugees;
This campaign aims to provide refugees with access to digital resources and technology, empowering them with essential skills for education, communication, and employment opportunities. This initiative focuses on bridging the gap between refugee communities and the digital world, fostering inclusion, and enabling them to thrive in an increasingly connected global society.
MOVEMENTS
Disciple Making Movement(DMM);
This aims to establish a network of disciples across Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, uniting Congolese, Rwandan, Burundian, and Sudanese refugees. By 2030, our goal is to form 200 disciple groups in the 9 Zones of the Refugee settlement. Through this initiative, we aspire to foster spiritual growth, promote peace, reduce crime, encourage education, and work toward ending violence, ultimately transforming the settlement into a community of harmony and hope.
Glory Of Virginity Movement (GLOVIMO);
It’s major objective is to promote the value and importance of maintaining purity among young people, particularly students and youth in refugee camps. The movement seeks to encourage a sense of self-worth, discipline, and respect for one’s body as a temple of virtue, while educating on the benefits of abstaining from premarital sexual activity. Through mentorship, guidance, and discussions, the movement aims to empower the youth to make informed decisions about their lives, fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and spiritual growth
