EVENT DESCRIPTION
The Christmas Card Craft Workshop is designed to bring together children and youth to create personalized Christmas cards as a way of spreading joy, positivity, and the message of love during the holiday season. This activity encourages creativity and artistic expression, giving participants a sense of accomplishment as they create something meaningful to share with loved ones. It will also foster community engagement by instilling the values of generosity and kindness. The event will provide participants with all necessary art supplies, and volunteers will guide them step-by-step to ensure they produce beautiful and heartfelt cards.
EVENT CONTENT
- Brief introduction and welcome remarks explaining the significance of sharing love during Christmas.
- Tutorials on basic card-making techniques, including folding, cutting, and decorating.
- Guided writing sessions for creating uplifting messages and Bible verses to include inside the cards.
- Participants present their final cards and share their thoughts on whom they will give them to and why.
